This MU Online server is built by the veteran community behind MU Aliens, which was one of the most prominent, classic Bulgarian private servers from the golden era of the game.
Historical Data: MU Aliens (AliensMu / Aliensclub)
| Attribute | Details |
|---|---|
| Active Years | Opened around 2005, officially ceased operations in 2008. |
| Country of Origin | Bulgaria (one of the dominant local servers alongside early competitors like Mu Matrix). |
| Core Gameplay Specs | Run primarily on old-school versions like 97d+99i. It featured a balanced 120x experience rate, making it a medium-rate server focused heavily on active grinding, early-era open-world PvP, and classic Blood Castle / Devil Square events. |
| Peak Popularity | Fueled entirely by the Bulgarian PC Club culture of the mid-2000s. During its peak, the server held a massive market share of Bulgarian MMORPG players who frequently filled local internet cafes for overnight grinds. |
The new server is just starting on Season 20, please find the client link. Do not forget to install the font "Arial-Unicode-MS.ttf" that is in the game folder, so you will see correctly all the English text in game (otherwise you will see blank squares).
